Your seismic archive, open in a browser
WyseSearch is the online catalogue we give our seismic data management clients. Every line, file, box and order in one index — searchable, mapped, audited, and orderable without a phone call. Open it right now on a sample archive: give us an email, and we send back a code that opens it.

One index over a library that lives in six places
A seismic library is rarely one thing. It is a spreadsheet of lines, an older database nobody wants to touch, a shelf list in a binder, a folder of scanned observer notes, a pallet of tapes, and one person who remembers where the rest of it is. Every request for data goes through that person.
WyseSearch is one index over all of it, digital and physical. A line, the files that carry it, the box it is stored in and the order that last shipped it are the same record, reached the same way. When somebody asks for a survey, they find it themselves.
It is part of the service, not a separate product
We build your catalogue as part of a seismic data management engagement: we inventory what you have, load it in whatever naming and coordinate system the survey already uses, and keep it current as data arrives. WyseSearch is where you and your team then read it. There is no separate licence to buy and no software to run.
What it does
Six screens, each answering a question somebody has already phoned us to ask. Every one of them is live in the demo.
-
Search, on four indexes
One search box over lines, files, warehouse boxes and the map. The same words go to a different index on each tab, so you can see which one holds the answer instead of guessing why a result is missing.

The line atlas
Every line plotted over the Dominion Land Survey grid and a basemap of Western Canada. Drag to pan, shift-drag to select an area, and colour the lines by vintage, ownership or billing status. Dense areas draw as counted clusters, so a survey never hides behind the one above it.

Data quality you can act on
Fill bars per column, worst first, and rules that catch what a fill percentage cannot. A line recorded at (0, 0) has four filled coordinate columns and scores 100 % complete. Click any bar or rule to see the rows behind it.

Ordering, and the desk behind it
Add lines to a cart and check out. The order lands on the desk, oldest first, and moves through acknowledged, fulfilling and delivered, with a timestamp on every step. Both sides are in the demo.

Reports that leave the screen
Every report downloads as CSV or Excel, built from the rows in front of you rather than a different query run somewhere else. Exports are recorded, because a copy of the catalogue leaving the platform is worth knowing about.
-
Access you decide
Your staff see the whole archive. A trading partner or a broker sees read-only what you have cleared them for, through their own login, without a copy of your catalogue leaving your control.
It tells you where the catalogue is thin
An archive that has passed through three owners and two database migrations has gaps, and the gaps are rarely where people expect. WyseSearch scores every column of your catalogue, worst first, and keeps each run, so you can see whether a field is filling up or emptying out over the year.
A fill percentage on its own is not enough, which is why there are rules beside it. A coordinate of zero is a filled coordinate. A shoot date in 1901 is a filled date. Those rows score perfectly and are still wrong, so they are counted separately and listed by name.
Fixing what the report finds is ordinary cataloguing work, and it is work we can do for you.

Nothing you click in the demo leaves your computer
The sample archive is built in your browser when the page loads. Change an order, a filter or a profile and it lives in that tab and nowhere else — refresh, or use Reset in the demo badge, and it is back where it started. There is nothing to break and nothing to cancel.
How your archive gets in it
We have done this for clients with one shelf of boxes and for clients with a full data library. The work is ours, not yours.
-
Tell us what you have
A spreadsheet, an old database export, a room of paper, a pallet of tapes, or a rough guess. We will tell you what is there and what it costs to catalogue and store.
-
We load and reconcile it
Your line names, your coordinate system, your project codes. Tapes we cannot read go through transcription first, and paper through scanning. Duplicates and gaps are flagged rather than quietly merged.
-
Your team searches it
Logins for your staff, read-only logins for the partners you choose, and orders that arrive at our desk instead of somebody’s inbox. The catalogue stays current as new data arrives.
